A friend of ours from church took some pictures of Liam when he was 6 days old. Over 115 pictures turned out but these are my favorites. I just want him to stay little forever :).

Little Liam Jeffrey Meyers was born February 12, 2010 at 11:44pm. He weighed 8lbs, 15oz and was 21 inches long.

I was induced at 4:30 due to pre-eclamsia. Labor was 7 hours long and worth every minute once I recieved my precious bundle. Jeff and I are in love and and feel so blessed. Its been such a joy having him in our lives already.

So close, yet so far away!

I am 39 and a half weeks pregnant! I can actually see the light at the end of the tunnel, but it seems so dim. Of course I am not the first woman to feel this way :). I only have two more days of work and don't go back till late May. Though I will miss the students, I realize this is the most important thing I can be doing. Jeff and I are so excited to see our little guy. We decided on the name Liam Jeffrey Meyers.

I have also decided that if I don't go into labor by my due date (Feb. 14th) I am going to ask to be induced that day. The morning sickness is back, I can't feel the tips of my fingers (from swollen hands), I have cankles, my shoes don't fit, its hard to breath, sleeping is a chore now, and I feel like a bowling bowl is sitting in my pelvis! I hate complaining, but I feel justified in asking to be induced. We are definitely ready for the next chapter of our journey, holding a sweet little baby boy.
